Introduction Program
You may know you love music, but are unsure where to focus your energy. We will work with you and help you realize your dreams and set goals with you that are attainable and ensure success.
Music for Young Children
Children are the center of MYC … their learning styles and needs are met through a multi-sensory approach. The understanding of music will expand into positive problem-solving skills, areas of self-expression, the growth of memory skills and excellent self-confidence and self-esteem. With these natural outcomes children can easily take on the skills required to read other languages and master other tasks.
In MYC, children meet in small groups, in their own age category, once a week for an hour, accompanied by an adult (parent, grandparent or caregiver) who participates in the program.
The program lasts from three to five years, depending on the age of the child, with each year typically consisting of 36 lessons.
Specialties
BEAT is always looking to increase their areas of influence. We are thrilled to offer Jazz Piano, Music for Young Children, and Saxaphone in addition to Piano, Singing and Theory. If you have an instrument you'd like to study and we don't currently offer it, please let us know and we'll find you a teacher!.
Recording Opportunities
BEAT is a studio where you can learn to sound great, and then record yourself doing it! State-of-the-art recording equipment is coming to the studio this fall. If you've always wanted to create your own cd, this is the place for you!
